What God desires most is to see you stepping out and walking moment by moment in the reality of what He has done. God has already moved on your behalf. He sent Jesus to the cross to bear your sickness, weakness and pain (Isaiah 53:4-5). He healed you by His stripes (1 Peter 2:24). He became poor so you could be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). He covenanted with you to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). What He desires is to see you stepping out and walking moment by moment in the reality of what He has done.
So many things in my life didn’t happen until I stepped out. When God said, “Do it.”; I just did it. Most of the time I didn’t even know how to accomplish what God told me to do. But I stepped out. If I hadn’t obeyed, I would have missed God. I could not have figured it all out myself. However, God had already worked it all out.
The steps I took weren’t just steps of faith, but trust. Exercising my faith was only part of it. There came a time when I had to completely trust God.
Of course, I could have just jumped out ahead and then been just as wrong as I would have been had I sat on it too long. However, if we continually walk in the Word of God, when it comes time, we will be ready to step out and trust of God.
